I like the composition of the second also, I like the bolder, darker colors and tone for itself, but I miss the feeling of fragile translucency of the leaves and petals of the first.

I love the first for its pastel backlit softness and, as Piet said, light and airy. That's not to say that I don't like the second, I just get a different, very spring-like sense from the first, while the second may be more summery. :)
