This s quite bright on my monitor, but I really like it. It's such a tangle it reminds me of one of those maze puzzles.

I could look at this forever and never find the way out. S-

Thanks, St3v3. The bark on these roots was almost white. Thus, the brightness. Some have commented that they see various critters withing roots. Not real critters, but imagined ones inspired by the configuration of the roots themselves.

It's striking at first, but the more you look at it the more you like it. No More Of These!!! LAF

I like this, and wish it were mine. I'd include it in a collection I have called "The Secret Life of Trees" that has all kinds of squirrelly images of twisted body parts of trees.

This is another I"d have to run through Deep Dream to see what it would spit out. I already seen various creatures, mostly fish, in amongst the roots.

It's a picture to look at more than once...

Bears, elephants , hippos, weasels, what a menagerie you have revealed. A psychiatrist's dreamscape. And that's what I see on a quick glance. With time, I could find the Founding Fathers. And maybe even the Rockettes. Great find. Great fun. Nice tight framing, lovely tonal range. Thanks. Matt
