Lovely. This one I am pretty sure is chicory. It goes by many other names. I knew it as cornflower before I did some research because I have always loved it. It's in the same family as aster.
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

I am glad you're making a record of these little intruders before you annihilate them. This is a pretty one, with plenty of color and detail.

Have you thought about relocating some of the prettier "weeds" and calling it a "native flora" garden?

How about not jumping to conclusion?

The only things I shoot to kill are grey tree rats. Weeds do not disturb me especially as these are not in my yard, squirrels are.

What is a weed but an unwanted plant? There are so many that I love, my favorite is the California Poppy!

The color is beautiful and the composition makes me want to get closer, and closer still! S-
