What do you shoot on a hot, muggy, Memorial Day?

Postby Didereaux » Mon May 29, 2017 8:05 pm

I had two choices....take the camera and shoot flowers from the back porch....or grab the 30.o6, sit on the front porch and shoot speeding noisy passing cars. I took the boring choice! (wife had something to say on the matter) ;)

There are no banal subjects in photography, but an infinite number of banal ways to illustrate them.

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Flowers are always a winner. Thanks for reminding us that we can play with our cameras almost anywhere.

I can't keep a plant alive more than a day, thus nothing in my yard. So -I went to the market, with camera, to take some photos on a rainy Memorial Day. Took photos of flowers and vegetables and fruits, all fun, and had a blast playing with them.

I've thought of going to the home garden center to do the same so I appreciate the inspiration. Thank you! S-
