I found this mushroom with some unusual markings on its top. Thought it was interesting... ;)

The fairies have painted it! Did you see any tiny footprints?

Last year I found one that looked like a piece of Delft china, a rich blue design on a white background, and was quite sure that Dutch fairies had been in the swamp.

Thanks for sharing a unique find!

I think you are right about the faeries... :look:
I found a little house in another part of the forest. I'll have to find that image and post it.

Please do! I love to photograph the fairy houses in the forests on Monhegan Island.

Mother Nature could learn something from the faeries! I love it!

With your title and all the talk of fairies, I wonder how many people saw the fairy in the 'original' image? A little hand even. Love it! S-

I'm sure most people picked up on it within a few minutes. I wanted it to be subtle but not obscure to find. I just had lots of fun making it, and to think it all started with a funky little blemish at the top of the mushroom. :-)

It's often the 'blemish' that makes the image! S-
