I should have said more. The hawk was hit by a car and was rehabilitating at a local Nature Center. It seemed used to people but not a lens pressed against the fence and was pretty tame but only took so much of me. I have another in the wild from years back, but I got maybe fifty feet from it before it decided that was enough. They have a crow there too and I really wanted to get some photos of its feathers as they seemed to have an iridescent purple to them, but every time I'd put the lens to the fence he'd turn and peck at it. He could have his back turned to me but in a second be turned around pecking. Funny bird! I'll try to take more! S-Matt Quinn wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 2:32 amA foot? How did you get that close without spooking it? Matt

I would love to see the crow photos. They are shrewd and crafty critters. And their plumage has mystery in it. Show us. MattSt3v3M wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 2:57 amI should have said more. I wish I had one, but once he pecked my lens I backed off and said Thank You But Another time. They're really smart! S-Matt Quinn wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2018 3:03 amI would love to see the crow photos. They are shrewd and crafty critters. And their plumage has mystery in it. Show us. Matt

Impactful image of a place I bet you know well

Looks like something out of a stock portfolio, which means that it's well done!
