(Anti) Rule Of Thirds: Day 21- Clear
It's interesting, I confess. Abstract by all means. What is it? It looks wet, semi translucent, and I can't figure out what's on top of what.

You made that prettier than it had a right to be.

Good work with your non-thirds. You're getting the hang of it. Lots of creativity here.

I've enjoyed catching up with all your recent shots, Steve. Great eye for creativity, humor, mood. "Anti-" is your genre :)
I've always been a little different but your comment made me laugh! Thank you so much! S-

Thank you so much! It was a rough couple of days and all the Dramamine sold out but we made it and it's beautiful, life is like that though and worth every second!

I miss being on the site and will post more soon! S-

Best compliment ever for that photo! Upside-down bar glasses with reflected light.

This challenge is making me work for it and I'm beginning to love it! S-

Once, many years ago, a group of us were ice skating on a freshly frozen pond where some of the edges were still clear water. On a dare, we skated as close to the water as we could without falling in. Most of us stayed about 3-4 feet from the edge. My closest friend, Roger, had incredible balance and daring and skated right up to the edge and trailed one blade in the water.

On some of you images, Steve, you skate to the edge, and leave a lovely trail of almost, almost, almost. And, so far, you have stayed dry. Well done. Matt

I love the most recent three. Clearly you are on a cruise (if you mentioned it I was daydreaming out the window). I also think this is becoming a genre for you, and it's certainly a powerful learning tool. Your shots get better and better, holding interest without the need for off centering things. The seascapes continue to have a Gurskyesque quality of horizontal divisions. I especially like the bar glasses as I love abstracts. (OK)
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|
