Animals Critique ⇒ Just Gulls

The egrets have been a bit reluctant to get out in the below freezing temperatures, preferring to roost in the trees and watch the gulls go wild in the water. They are hard to capture, and I discard 90% of what I take. Every once in a while I get one I think I can do something with. let me know if you have ideas.

It’s superb merit, to my eye, is the sublime counterposition of the gently soaring of the gulls -each in its independent puff of breeze set above and in front of the roiling chaos of the turbulent sea. It pictures a push-pull balancing act of unique dynamism!
Definitely a gripping image and one my favorites of all of your works.
