A Family Outing

Post by minniev » Mon May 07, 2018 8:29 pm

Found this dear little family at the dam this morning. There were no dam birds for me, so I was glad to find this bunch on an early morning hike.

Certainly enjoyable light..I might try heavily feathered brightening of the group, just a touch as it appears they are in a slight shadow

Minnie, A good morning, even w/o your regulars. Lovely light, tones and composition. All those little beaks all in a row. Bet you waited for them to be "just there." Well done. Matt

Twas about 7 AM so the light wasn't all that harsh yet, but it did leave their faces in shadow. I may tinker a bit more. I did some shadow lifting but can probably do just a little more.

Thanks Matt. I was leaving when I spotted this adorable bunch. Of course when Mama spotted me she started leading them away from me. I got off a dozen shots before she got in front of the trash container, and a few of them were in focus well enough to keep. This was my favorite because of those beaks in a row.

I love em, that chick up front thinks he's big stuff. Nice environment too with the taller plants behind.

Thank you. There was a cuteness factor I couldn't resist.
