Birds On Ice
The stage gets slippery when it ices over, and sometimes somebody skids off. Great recovery skills though.

They both look as if they are frantically trying to keep their balance. It's actually pretty funny. I still wonder how their feet don't freeze.

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really.

Amusing, funny image Minnie !!! Isn't it wonderful to capture the 'Dam Birds' in a variety of circumstances.

That's what wings are for, I guess. Nicely done. Looks like you still have ice. Matt

We should research those feet. There has to be an explanation for how they stand in the icy water for so long without losing them to frostbite.Charles Haacker wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 7:42 pmThey both look as if they are frantically trying to keep their balance. Glad you find the humor. I'm making a little subset of dam bird comedy for a friend who is amused by them and may add this one

Thank ya Frank. The birds are already a little jacked up, so I'm not sure they'll hold up to more, but I'll see what they're willing to give me!

Thank Matt. This is left over from Ice Days. It's hovering around freezing now but has to get into the teens and stay there a few days for the ice to form in that environment. I've got a trove of them left over to play with from the Cold.Matt Quinn wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2018 3:36 amThat's what wings are for, I guess. Nicely done. Looks like you still have ice. Matt
I wish I had wings, I'd be safer on those rocks if I did.

A "subset of dam bird comedy" sounds wonderful. This shot is a delightful combination of humor and sense of place.
