An unusual view of a Kookaburra

Post by Onslow » Mon Jul 06, 2015 7:54 am

I was setting up for some evening landscape photography at http://www.wombatbend.com/. I had just set the gear up and turned away. I heard a noise, turned to the camera and saw this sight. I usually only get the bums of birds. I am hopeless at birding. Now I have this and others, I will drop the genre as I'll never beat this. :)

I used my Samsung Galaxy S5 to get the picture and the following video.... :)

I would print this image huge and put it on my wall if I were you. Won't be topping this one any time soon.

I saw a Cooper's Hawk investigating a remote camera I set up once but I was unable to get any images of it before it moved onto other interests.

"As long as it doesn't shit on the lens, I'll be quite happy!"
