The mighty Beckham

Postby Onslow » Sat Sep 26, 2015 11:50 pm

I was visiting some friends who are big in the australian scene of breed rescue for Airedale Terriers. Here is Beckham, a very sad story of a psychologically damaged and abused dog. Almost 12 months of intense rehabilitation has now brough him into paradise. He can run and play, things he wasn't capable of doing in his previous life. For a while it had been considered that euthanasia would be the only answer as he was so badly damaged. Thankfully, perseverance and incredible bravery and patience brought him back out of his shell. He now plays joyously with his three other new brothers and sisters. It is delightful to see the change from my last visit only a few months ago.

1) Seeing his new owners, Sue and Bill returning to the property.

2) Going to greet them.

Nice shots John. Glad everything is working out for him.

These are such beautiful dogs. It's unimaginable that anyone would maliciously abuse them. There is a reason why they are called man's best friend, why anyone would think otherwise is beyond me.

These are some fantastic shots. I love the movement in the second one. The light is fantastic.

Love that lst image. It's such a crime to abuse animals.
