Always a story behind a good shot. In this case the engineer gave me the sign he was about to blow out the condensation tanks on either side...waited until I got set up and then cut 'em loose! That is actually only warm water under high pressure and not the steam. Both the Engineer, and the Fireman/Brakeman were super nice guys and really played nice with ignorant photographer types! :lol:


oh yeah, and the reason that looks like the train is going like a bat out of he11 is that the slight tilt downward going right is my doing...the engine is actually stock still.

It's odd but I like this more than the black and white.

I wonder if it's because it's almost black and white already and the little pop of color gives it that extra something.
