Car show in town today

Post by Bob's Photography » Sun Jun 28, 2015 9:27 pm

Nice car show in the park about a block away from me in the drizzle. Here are a few I started working on. Still got a few to go. Even though it continued to drizzle, I'd say there were a couple of hundred cars present. Last year there were 500 cars. I especially like the ice cream truck, in my day they never had engines like that. :D

Last two for now. Note the Mustang under the hood had no manipulation, it's like an under the hood blanket.
Enjoy,

Now these are cars worthy of a "show"! Nice job on capturing details without a bunch of background clutter! (my main complaint about going to shows around here).

Thanks for posting!

Tony, backgrounds at these type of shows has been brought up here before, it bothers me too. I have another 30 or so shots of whole cars, but until I get around to silhouetting or blur/darken/whatever the backgrounds I'm not showing them anywhere. That's why most of the above are tight closeups. The vette I only had to darken/blur a little and the ice cream truck... well it's an ice cream truck.

Here's an example, a great looking Woody, but the cars to its right nice but are real annoying for the shot.
