Old Car Graveyard

Post by minniev »

I can't believe Dave hasn't posted anything from this little side venture yet. We found this old car graveyard in Wiccasset, ME, and shot it just after sunrise. This one is creatively edited.

The heavy dew was a tremendous help with this image in my option minniev..nice look you've given it...it has an almost fisheye feel to it, and from that perspective I'm glad the rock was there or it might have rolled right into you.

Thank ya Frank. Fisheye feel must be from getting low and close. Great old vehicles for photographic fun.

A lovely memorable grunged up image Minnie. I have been back and forth, viewing what I have. Some have been processed, but not sure why I haven't posted any. I started a composite the other day, haven't gotten too far into it, but so far not very happy with it. The one here you posted is one that I like very much. Old cars and especially old trucks seem to be a favorite with me. This find was a treat, all those trucks lined up in a row with nowhere to go.

Glad you approve Dave! Please do share some of yours. I may dig back into mine as I love old car photos too. Perfect for grungy processing.

I like it! I have not tried to do much with the interior shots but this may motivate me. Those dew drops are pretty great, good work on that processing! We had great conditions to shoot those old trucks.

cool shots, like the moisture on them, Am liking Dave's interior view a lot for the mood and that piece of rust and all.
