This is one of those images I'd love to see used for a 500 or 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle. Enough to make one's eyes go crossed or at the least some light hair loss. :lol:

Yes indeed...and a light rain of bird poop as they flew over! Perhaps better to catch them from the side; my lens took a direct hit! I kept the uric acid (the white stuff) wet and protected from drying with coffee from my thermos until I could get back to the car for for serious, gentle cleaning. I learned long ago that dried urates, unless thoroughly dissolved, are abrasive to lens coatings! (Yet another reason not to forget to replace the haze/U-V filter!)
