really love the shadows, light, texture --- the ghostliness of the sails.

My two favorites are 1 and 3. It's the reflections, the symmetry, the chiaroscuro. I so admire (and somewhat envy) your ability to visualize and realize these details.

(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Like Charles my favorites are the first and third with favoritism going to the first one. The reflected ripples on the hull and the shadows of the lines curving inward really pulled my eye into the scene. But then, I'm a sucker for nautical stuff.

The second image I have a hard time with and it took me some introspection to figure out why. It's because it's not a "pretty" picture. Even face to face, I find boats out of the water and in storage are seldom 'sexy'. Me, I like pretty pictures and the first image in this series has my vote. But, that's not to say that second image doesn't have a certain quality to it. It's a bit eerie in a way.

I usually like images to have a title, and if possible a backstory, where Untitled doesn't do it for me, but this is one I wish I had seen without any pretext. This is about the lines, the ghostly reflection, the light and the beautiful symmetry. Your tone and processing couldn't have been better here! Beautiful! S-

I personally am not a fan of titles Steve. For me it takes away what you yourself would bring to an image. When entering my professional print competition I am required to have titles. ;-(
