love the lateral lines textures in light and dark and the contrast between them. Composition to die for - layers of detail and depth. Many will look long at this one!

That's pretty wonderful Ernst, it "feels" like a classical painting of a 19th century harbor, something I'd view in a museum. This is one I wish I could see in person (or hang on my wall). I love it.
