I agree with Steve, Bob. Amazing detail; I keep looking, especially at the inside of the shell. Almost looks like an aspen leaf imprint there. The texture on the road is super gritty; I hope the shell was empty when it hit the ground. Matt

Matt, as I mentioned to St3v3, that was a found object and at just the right time of day. I'm pretty sure it was empty. Guessing from the time of year, the winds, etc. I'm pretty sure there was a brand new bird enjoying life.
