I was shooting a running stream when these appeared above me. I don't know what they are, but I couldn't resist raising my camera.

I'm not a birder but if I had to take a guess I'd say they are Cormorants. They're cool birds and fun to watch! S-

I agree with Steve that they're probably cormorants, birds I do love to photograph, especially if I can catch up up close. Their colors are subtle but beautiful, and their eyes are downright weird.
