Trumpeter Swan cygnet at that awkward stage :)

Parents are clipped, captive, located at an in-town cemetery.

They may be ugly ducklings to us, the viewer, but I bet Mom doesn't think so. Parents clipped would be like us in jail with the cell doors unlocked, along with the front gate left wide open. "You Can Check Out Anytime You Like, but You Can Never Leave". All nice captures Linda !!!

Duck and Dave, thanks for your comments! ("Duck and Dave" - a singing duet in the '50's? LOL)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

Damn, you found us out. Now we'll have to go on a reunion tour and sign autographs on women's chests...
Wonder if I can still fit in my old leather pants?

What's not to like about a baby swan, no matter how awkward! I adore swans, and I always enjoy your cemetery swan family. He's adorable, even if he doesn't pose for you as well as you'd like. Most children don't!
