Bluebirds

Postby LindaShorey » Fri May 19, 2017 1:04 am

Drove to the back of beyond, Bickleton, WA - the bluebird capital of the world..

Quickly realized I am no match for these small beauties that don't hold still for more than a few seconds and tend to fly away just as you get them in focus :)

Here are 3 from the Olympus at 300 mm with 2x digital zoom, edited from jpg's, with further cropping.

Love the birdies, especially in the first image.

Birding is hard and definitely gives an appreciation for those magnificent shots.

These are wonderful. Number two is my favorite, but the third looks like it belongs on a stamp! S-

Thank you very much, Minnie and Steve. I don't really have the patience, especially for small birds that won't hold still. The volcanoes were much more cooperative :)

I have the same problem with bugs that see me coming and flitter away. Mountains are a lot better at sitting still! S-

Love the Blue Birds, wish they would be here on the Olympic Peninsula.
