Backyard raptors 1

This series will be just raptors that have shown up in our yard. Mostly Sharp-shinned, and Cooper's HAwks.... but a surprise as well. ;)

Wonderful shots of a wonderful bird. The first one is fun, but the second one is exceptional with that expression and that stare-down look isn his eyes. The composition is very nice. Enter this one in the Audubon contest!

I had never heard of a Sharp-shinned hawk before but think I've seen one before so I'm happy to have learned something today!
