Nesting Eastern Phoebe

Postby Ceropegia » Thu Apr 21, 2016 8:37 pm

On a downspout right beside my garage door. After skipping last year for a different downspout, the phoebes have returned to this location where they successfully raised two families each season of the two years previous to last year. The garage doors are quite noisy and Otis and I are frequently walking right under this nest, yet the phoebes persist. They often do not even leave the nest when we are about, although they do keep a wary eye on us.

Always have to keep an eye on photographers. Nice capture.
Feel free to do as you wish with any of my photos. If you are able to receive compensation for their use, we are then (me 51% you 49%) partners. Then do the honorable thing and contact me so I can send my cut to the charity of my choice.
