Rockets and Red Car

Post by minniev »

Are you old enough to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis? Did you ever wonder what happened to all that stuff? Look closely at the playground equipment painted turquoise. Others have been repurposed in other ways. These people lack the goods and services most of us take for granted, but they are ingenuous as making stuff out of what is no longer needed for its original purpose.

Cuba makes that easy. Wires and clotheslines everywhere.

Cuba is a repurposed society where so many others throw it all away. Thank you for sharing this! S-
