Attala County Dinosaur At Sunset

Post by minniev » Mon Jun 11, 2018 2:48 pm

This abandoned piece of farm equipment sits alongside the road on the route to my old/new house, and I have passed it hundreds of time, but yesterday with the Queen Ann's lace blowing about in the breeze at sunset, I finally stopped and caught a shot of him.

Is he of interest, and how well did I manage blending the two exposures? And anything else, of course? He's been prowling this fenceline a long time so I will have other chances to photograph him!

yep, I like how he is looming up from the distance, love the layers of vegetation as his environment, I can see him stretching his long neck to take a nibble.

Thanks Frank. I pass him all the time but the flowers on the roadside made me stop last evening. It's two shots, one focused on the flowers and one on the "dinosaur", I blended them zigzagged through the darkest part of the bushes.

Thanks Piet, I thought he might be about to eat some of those flowers. It was practice in blending exposures since I wanted him and the flowers in focus.
