Hennessy Very Special Cognac
Did a 'just for fun' image of this bottle of Hennessy.
The placement is on purpose, allowing for copy space on the left.
My question though is regarding the books. I was originally going to obfuscate the titles to make them 'generic' but after editing the image the titles kind of grew on me. Do you think the books should be made blank or are they okay the way they are?
Thanks in advance.

Duck you know I don't squat about nothing so take with a grain of salt my comments....I could not decide at first glance whether the books were adding or distracting to the selling content of the subject..so after some thought I decided if the book titles were of content relating to cognac, brewing, or Hennessy they might be deemed more relevant....I will say the light fall of you have achieved is exceptional.

I hadn't considered possibly changing the titles to something relevant to the image. Now that you mention it I smack my forehead at how obvious that is.
I'll have to think of some fun/funny titles to edit in.
Thanks for the comment about the lighting. It was a single strobe in a stripbox, double diffused, camera left with a reflector camera right. Here's a BTS shot of the setup.

Alrighty...
I took Frank's suggestion and changed up the titles to be a bit more relevant. I definitely like it so much more as everything ties in nicely.
Thank you Frank.
I also changed up the color to a more caramel shade. Oh, and I added the text.

Very nice. The books are great, especially with the edit. I'm undecided on the change in color because I really liked the first a lot. The second is just as nice, but we sometimes get hooked on the first look. The impression is one of elegant simplicity, which I think is what you want. Your setup is still scary.Duck wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 4:27 amAlrighty...

I live the clean look of the image, the apparent glow, and the angle of the shot. Thank you for sharing this with us! S-Duck wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 12:46 amDid a 'just for fun' image of this bottle of Hennessy.
