That's a beautiful almost nature abstract-type image, but what sets it apart is the story that charred line tells. Well spotted and captured.

You have defined Gnarly Character. One thought, rotated 90 or 270 (a wrong will never make a right, but three lefts do!) so that it feels more like sediment. I think your control of tone is amazing.
