Hi, Matt,
I especially like #2,but have been slow to respond until I figured out why I was still a bit uneasy about it. Finally figured out that the shiny shelf bracket behind the neck of the far left violin was a distraction. Perhaps carefully burning in for darkening would reduce its distractive effect.

Yes, Dave, it bothered me too, and I experimented with cropping the left and right brackets but didn't like the results, so went with what you see. I will take a shot at darkening it. Thanks. Matt
