Free headshots for building tenants

My studio is on the third floor of a century old factory building. Actually a complex of five interconnected buildings. Within are about 32 businesses ranging from manufacturing to service based businesses to artisans and craftspeople of all kinds. The landlord is working on setting up a section of the building as a flex space with plans of creating a space for the Maker Community (techies who like to build things using electronics, 3D printers and such). I thought it would be a good idea to spotlight the new space, generate some interest or at the least let people know about the space, by hosting a free headshot day for all the tenants of the building there.

The event would be mutually beneficial for all of us; landlord shows off the new space, tenants find out about it, I get some real world practice in and hopefully some new clients, tenants get a new "professional" headshot and we all get a little publicity out of it. My terms are the tenant gets a high resolution headshot they can use for whatever they want so long as they post on their social media sites a link back to my pages. For example, if they use the image on their facebook page they link to my facebook page. Linked-In to my Linked-In, Instagram to instagram, etc. In return I will also link to their sites.

I also get to use their headshots in my portfolios and to advertise my services in whatever way I want (social media, emails, etc.)

I had a good half dozen take me up on the offer and am going through the editing now. I will post them as I get them done. Here is the first.

Caitlin is a Certified Art Therapist and needed a new image for her website.

Thanks for stopping by to look. I appreciate the comments. I have a few more to go but I'll post the next one in a few.

This is Brittany. She rents a small space next to my studio and she does found items into art, reclaimed art and vintage reclamation.

Well taken portraits of lovely young ladies with personality that you’ve captured. One thought- is there a way to reduce the reflective shine a little bit on the second young lady’s face? Especially on forehead and chin?

Fantastic start, Duck. And great fun; lots of creative energy pulsing around that place. Matt

Much better. As a woman who's always had "shiny" skin, I know she'll appreciate the extra touches.

Stephanie and Mark are coworkers one floor down from me. These two were a riot together and definitely made my day. There's nothing better than connecting with a client and having a good time.
