Anna Poplovic - Another of my concert photos. Make any suggestions you think would be helpful. Or edit it and show me! I wasn't sure how much to mitigate the purple stage light coming from upper right, or how to deal with the barricade that cut off her legs, so I just cropped there. Thanks.

The large person upper left distracts me. Crop? Other than that, great emotion. Cool cool shot. Matt

Thanks for the comments and edits, I really like what you did and agree the crop is a success even though I didn't think it would be. Appreciate you sharing your "eye"!

My hunch is that the barricade adds to the feeling of being there. And yea, stage lights are hard. You did well! S-

For me, when it comes to capturing musicians performing, facial expression is what I make an attempt to capture. Something thats unique and yet still flattering, if possible. I would suggest cropping down from the top left to the keyboardist, to eliminate the person in the background as much as possible. This would bring us closer to both musicians and show a more prominent facial expression, which would also display a more well balanced image. Just my thoughts.
