my thought is that the effects you have added look great on the reflections and sand, but are too harsh on the heads and waves. Perhaps use a gradient to let the effects through stronger on the bottom and weaker on top. (and like the girls - I could be all wet!)

There's something that's not quite working for me, Frank. It might be that there are so many similarly toned textures throughout. And I feel a little disconnect emotionally. They seem to be "each in her own world" which should work, but I'm not quite feeling it.

I like the concept and the image is well taken. This is one of those rare ones that I wonder might be better in color, especially if they have colorful swim suits. And perhaps processed in a vintage-color manner. Just a thought...

Well composed & processed image Frank. Just a suggestion, I would maybe consider a slight vintage color version such as a Norman Rockwell look and feel. Although, I would be perfectly satisfied with what you have displayed here already.
