The Sheriff

Trying something new, something different. A bit of a cinematic look. Strobe in a softbox bounced off side wall (you can see one of the legs of my light stand :-( ) Light was colored with a red gel. Dark hallway, no real ambient light to speak of.

Well, let's see...

I learned that a plastic gun looks real in the dark.
I learned that a 25 foot long corridor can be a challenge when you only have 10 seconds on the shutter.
I learned that doing selfies like these suck. It's so much easier behind the camera.
I learned it's a lot more fun than I originally thought.

I want to do a film noir shoot sometime soon. I just need a few models.

Fantastic! And very reminiscent of Dave Chinn's hat-clad bad/good guys and his fondness for dark. A fascinating shot.

The only trait that surpasses your skill with this one is your imagination. Wonderful concept, well carried out, great choice/application in terms of the color. What on earth will you do next?

Good one, Duck. If I lived closer, I'd volunteer to help.

I love this but wonder what you think of placing a hint of your mannequin in the front-left corner to play the villain? S-
