It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed.
As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery.

Took this a few years ago and tried to make it look more old-school.

First is the original color version.


And here is the old-school B&W attempt.

I do like the attempt here. I think the blurring has gone a touch far but apart from that though, I think the treatment has been handled well. :)

I like the shot but feel it is much too soft too.
