I think it is pretty dang good Frank - you captured a special moment and the composition is very nice. I like how the dark areas and the light areas play off each other.

This is a very zen-like image. It would be zen-like even if the big Z weren't cut into his hair but that seals the deal! The sinuous pose, the shell, the implied movement in the water, the distorted reflection, all combine to make this one more art than portrait. As usual, you've handled the tonalities well in the conversion. Very nice.

Thank you minniev..they've wanted those lighting bolts for two years and their mom finally let um get them...Already grown back out will be gone next cut

Appears to be an intense moment and you have captured it very well Frank. Tone and reflection are spot on for a moody, end of summer scene.
