Sometimes the patterns seem pretty all by themselves. All suggestions, comments, appreciated.

Nothing to critique so far as I am concerned. I wouldn't mind have a physical print in my hands just so I could turn it through 360 and study it. The chaos is fascinating and gives us an insight into why no two snowflakes are ever exactly the same (although that's now disputed but angels dancing). Hey, that would make a good title for this: Angels Dancing.

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really.

Minnie, You know my preference in b&w; the darker, the better. These look washed out to me; I would prefer more black and a tad more contrast. Aging eyes here, you understand. Matt

I think Chuck's onto something. I bet the impact would be much greater with a print, maybe metal? This is a bit chaotic for my comfort level, but I can imagine becoming immersed in the moment when shooting. Fascinating artist, that Mother Nature.

Angels Dancing On Chaos? Nice wordsmithing Chuck! Ice fascinated me. It creates its own forms that seem sometimes random and other times ordered. Glad you found it interesting!Charles Haacker wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 3:32 pmNothing to critique so far as I am concerned. I understand Matt, but I kept this one bright on purpose, shooting for a freshly-polished-silver look. I knew it wouldn’t appeal to everyone (and possibly not to anyoneMatt Quinn wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 7:42 pmMinnie, You know my preference in b&w; the darker, the better. Yep, it’s processed to emulate metal. I am tempted to do a small metal print just for the heck of it. I’ll watch for specials!LindaShorey wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 9:25 pmI think Chuck's onto something. I bet the impact would be much greater with a print, maybe metal? I came back to look again and realized that it strongly resembles an electron micrograph of crystal structure.
