Pretty. I love the translucency of the wings. I think that's a hoverfly. There are many different kinds but they all mimic bees or wasps in one way or another. It's thought that it helps keep predators away. They like nectar (obviously). They also seem friendly. I've had them hang around and even land on me. I named one Curious George. :)
