Sugar Spritz!

Postby Nikodian1 » Sat May 02, 2015 6:25 am

Took on Duck's advise and spritz some sugar on the Rosemary Bush! It does work, it didn't just settle the bee a little but an odd looking beetle liked the sugar syrup as well!
all hand held as I was scrambling in the Rosemary Bush! I came out smelling like I should accompany a leg of lamb!

F16, I set my ISO at 200 1/200sec, using my 105 macro lens. I only took 4 shots of the bee and was happy with 2.

I've left some of the background foliage so these little critters look a part of the environment.

The fly I spotted as I was coming back inside to download my bee shots, so I took a photo that too!

The quality of these images are far better than your previous post. Great job. I'm glad to hear my little trick worked for you.
