It saddens me to forward the news that our good friend and fellow photographer, Matt Quinn, has passed.
As some of you may know, he had been battling cancer for a while and was on his way to recovery.

Northern Lights

This is my first post on this forum. Happy to receive any feedback. This is a photo of the Northern lights at Jokulsarlon Lagoon in Iceland. The ice in the lagoon was "painted" during the exposure. (20sec, f 4.0, ISO 1600)

Dave, my apologies. I have only seen this when it came up as Picture of the day. Well done and congratulations on that. This is a lovely image. So jealous of the visit to Iceland. It is a lifeong interest of mine, astronomy and here you have combined it into a stunning landscape as well... :)
