Loveland Feed and Grain

Post by Bobby Deal » Tue Dec 12, 2017 4:58 am

The property I live on is home to Loveland's Historic Feed and Grain Building. It was first built in 1892 and also contains the original boilers for the city's first electrical power plant. It generated all the power to run the street and porch lights in the area. Here are 2 very different views of the building. One shot from the very public front side and one from the less readily available back side. I live in the modern building next to the F&G

The front side is nice as a historical shot showing the present and the past, but the back is where the beauty is. S-

Well the whole place is amazing. I have spent the last couple years working as the caretaker of the building and wish they would allow me to display the interior images I have done there.

But here is a little taste of the magic on the backside of the building along the tracks
