Swinging Bridge, Tishomingo County

Post by minniev »

Built by the WPA in 1930, it’s still swinging though my husband and dog will not cross it. Foothills of the Appalachians, it’s a beautiful area.

Not fully understanding your intent from just viewing the image..dark, moody….imparting a dreary day. After reading your description I would suggest enhancing the end of the bridge, had you not mentioned your husband I don’t know if I would have even noticed him even if he is wearing blue…..

I was mainly just showing off a cool structure. The husband and dog decided to intrude. I guess I could try to do more with them but they were so timid. The trail on the other side was great!

Always appreciated. There’s always a better or different way to do something!

Now THAT’S a scene that I can easily imagine is one that is impossible to see and NOT photograph as you have / little blue fellow and all!

Great image! Reminds of once hearing something about “directing”... or “...leading” ... things... of some sort...???? “Lines!” That’s it “Lines !”
