Wow! that's a very cool image Frank, one of the best I've seen on here in a while. Limiting the color palette basically to three, two of which are black and white, is very effective here. But the composition is just great with the contrails echoing the lines of the architecture and the shape of the formation echoing the triangles embedded in the building and the boat sails. Just a feast for the eyes.

If we had a monthly competition for a Gallery image here, like the Place That Can't Be Named, I'd be voting for this one! Excellent work.

It would work in monochrome too, processed a la Tjintjelaar, but I like the effect of that blue.

So unique and wonderful! I can't help but think of the museum as "mother ship" :) Agree with all Minnie's points, though as always she says so much better - and points out things I didn't even realize I was seeing and loving.

Thank you minniev, I am flattered although you might have embellished a bit.…unusual for me but some how the color won out with this one….I would love to see your Tjintjelaar version….

Linda it is a unique building for sure and I also am enlightened by minniev’s comments and usually left with little to say after she has spoken..

One can also interpret the building as a giant bird flying towards the smaller flock, or a whale about to consume a school of minnows. It's just a grand photo.

Not Tjintjelaar's style, but just mine, had to try, but still like those blues best.

I hear roars and growls, I see sandpipers tempting the whale, and I note that, offstage, a puppeteer hold firm on the leash of the Roc. Grand. Matt
