Polygonal Portrait

More illustration than photography but I thought I'd share. Well, it is based on a photo, so there's that.
Enjoy!

H-iDuck! I like it! A lot! One of the things I especially like is the drop shadow on the "seamless," exactly where it should be since the light on your original portrait (yes portrait) is unmistakably what we used to call "Paramount," named (indeed) for Paramount Studios that used "butterfly" lighting (for the shape of the shadow beneath the nose) to the point it became a signature. It is also called Dietrich lighting for guess-who, who worked for (guess where) Paramount:

Your picture also reminds me strongly of the Wizard of Oz but that was Metro. (Retro Metro? I've been up since 2 with a vicious cold and the meds are kicking in...)

Your portrait also reminds me of Joe Spano (currently NCIS), and my current dumgum avatar is lit Paramount/Dietrich...
Friends call me Chuck. :photo: This link takes you to my Flickr albums. Please click on any album to scroll through it.
(I prefer to present pictures in albums because I can put them in specific order.)

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

It looks like a character out of my grandson's Minecraft game. Keep having fun while you're snowed in, and we'll keep having fun seeing what you create.

Thanks for the comments, folks. I had a fun time creating this. I found this tutorial on YouTube, created the action for it and went to town. While it was easy, it was a bit time consuming. The only thing I did not do, from the tutorial, was the copy and flip. I rendered both sides in order to get the lighting. Who's up for a challenge? :D
