Excellent, powerful images for a powerful subject.

I'm curious about the first one, which looks like you've done some texture work with it. If you'd be willing to share a little about your methods, I'd be very interested. It is a wonderful result.

Yes Minnie, I have a large folder of textures and on that lst one I added one of my favorites. All one has to do is by making a background copy on the original image and then drag your texture on it. Add a mask to that and then use your paint brush, with the palette black, decrease the strengh and remove the texture where your not wanting it. Hope that helps. Ernst

Thanks for the comments, I was beginning to wonder from the group if I was going to get any.


I use a lot of textures too, but when I see an especially well done image with textures I always ask to see if someone is doing something I don't know about! I think a lot of using textures is about trial and error, practice, and especially learning which textures are likely to do what you're trying to do for an image.

I've been gone from the forum for two weeks, just got back from Scotland yesterday, but trust me, I'll find your posts!
