While attending a wedding yesterday I had to go and look around.

Well, your gifted eye can always find something and your skills can make a fine presentation of it. The shadow is nice but the line makes it special. Well spotted and shown.

I learn something from each of your images, Ernst. From this one, I now will not feel reluctant to crop more tightly for the overall visual value even though that might slice part of the object, i.e., here, the chair's shadow. Thanks. Matt

Thanks Minnie & Matt!

Matt, When doing personal work I'm generally a real "tight ass" when cropping inside the viewfinder and print those results full frame.

Ernst,

With some grunting, arthritic bending and squirming--and at risk of my pajamas falling down--I tried to follow your 't-a' approach early this morning when I noticed these shadows of the rose bush on the bulkhead door. Fortunately our neighbor leaves for work very early. In my pj's and very large sunhat, I am sure the sight of me would have made for a memorable start to her day.

It really is all about seeing. It helps enormously to be able to capture what one sees the way one sees it, but the first, greatest challenge is seeing it at all. (Y)
