I love horses. I wish I could afford one myself. My grandparents used to raise Appaloosas and Morgans but that was long before I was born (darn it!). I did get to ride a lot when in my teens. Now I am always amused to see the reactions of people's faces when a horse gets too near them. Some look like they're about to have a panic attack.

Personally I love their nonchalant attitude as they approach the fence. This one exemplifies that attitude with the hay hanging out its mouth as it investigates your presence.

This is a grey donkey... Same thing thought (equine)...

And Yes I am uncomfortable next to huge horse like the Percheron breed especially when they come trotting toward you. Majestic, powerful beasts that they are.

By the way, Duck, what are the pixel size limits (V&H) here so that I can adjust for sharpness?

I love this one! There's something about the point of view, the color and processing that makes it feel like I was there and can feel it's breath on my hand.

I love fun photos like these. Thank you for sharing this! S-
