This is really lovely, Martha! What I particularly like is the size, color and delicate nature of the flowers make them just supporting players to your gorgeous subject.

This is a wonderful image of a beautiful butterfly. Perfectly placed in the frame, perfect angle, great wing display and in the perfect setting with the mix of greenery and tiny flowers. And on top of that, a great photographic capture.

Really excellent work!

I'll repeat what I said on your Flickr: That is about as perfect a shot as I have ever seen! All the elements work together to make the whole greater than the sum of the parts.

All the great photographers use cameras! No, really. :|

I thought you had painted this until I realized it was real. Wow, you couldn't have asked for a better combination. Beautiful, just beautiful! S-

Gorgeous , stunning, and all the things the others have said, again. I especially like the furry fuzziness on the wings; I feel I can almost breathe on it. And the name is so "stand up and be recognized". Mahvelous. Simply mahvelous
