I do like the look of this image. :) As I said in your other post, I am not that familiar with this genre but do like both images you have posted. :)

Every year I keep telling myself, "I need to get to this spot." It is simply gorgeous and a favorite of many photographers.
I would love to couple that trip with a trip further along the Palisades. Specially when the sun is low and glancing across the face of the cliffs.
I see photos like this and it gets me inspired.
Beautiful shot. Thanks for posting.

Thank you Duck for the comments.

A couple of days ago I received your invitation at the Cortlandt Camera Club meet up, and here I am! I see that you have a large meet up group just about an hour away. The Croton Dam is just a few minutes from my home, and I spent many hours in the past photographing here and in Teatown. I then needed some variety and five years ago started a meet up. Mostly we go to pretty spots in the area and have a good time. So my website has a huge collection of Hudson Valley photographs.

Cortlander, I am glad you took up my invitation. Thank you. I hope you find the site useful. Please feel free to share it with your fellow meetup members.
I'll be bringing a large group into Manhattan/Brooklyn in a month for some street and architectural shooting. We'll be walking the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. It's on May 24th if you'd like to join us.

Duck, I did announce your post to the rest of the members of my meet up.

What I have liked about this site is the warmth. Each one of you is an accomplished photographer. Yet you take the time to appreciate a new person's work and make him feel welcome. That is often missing in most forums. Nice job.

Thank you for recognizing this. It is definitely our goal.
And thank you for forwarding this onto your members. Greatly appreciated.
