There are two anomalies, one that the birds seem to be looking at just past and left of them, and one to the right of them, closer in.

I like the image - Frank said it right, I like the mist and the environment - now, about what you are talking about.. Are they dogs? Dark birds? Stumps? I don't think they could be 4 legged creatures, the birds wouldn't put up with it. Sigh, I hate the low rez they allow us...

I think they are stumps and tangled weeds but not sure. They look a lot like large spotted cats. Even though that is not possible. I liked the illusion. Higher res might not help though, it’s a deep crop, and the sensor was maxed out.

Look at the left most egret. He is about ready to nip the adult bobcat's tail as he heads away. The kitten is playing in a puddle to the right of the birds.

I took a closer look - clearly they are an invasive species - hyenas I think. The birds don't know what is about to happen, cause they have never seen them before.
