Just Water and a Rock With A Green Spot On It

Post by minniev »

Nothing else to say except practicing hand-holding for slow shutter shots to see what I can get away with. The bank was so steep getting down here that I didn't dare bring a tripod. I usually prop the camera up on a rock or tree in those cases, but I pressed my IS to experiment.

Thanks, it actually gave its own self the movement, I just caught it. The colors in the water were pretty neat with all the aspen trees overhead reflecting in it.

I hear you, but you could have frozen it.. I think you gave it the perfect amount of shutter slow.

Handheld, and the rock is sharp! I like it but the rock adds no value for me other than as an anchor point. I'm more interested in the water and the shapes and colors it produces in the moving current. I've always been drawn to it, the madness and the calm. S-
